If a referral is approved and the customer converts, the payout will be included your end-of-month paycheck.
Buisness Solutions Specialist (US) / Culinary Specialist (CA)
If a referral is approved and the customer converts, the payout will be included your end-of-month paycheck.
Digital Solutions Specialist

Frequently asked questions
The incentive program is where we compensate you for referring qualified customers to our technology partners.
- DSRs can earn $100 for each vendor ($350 for POS vendors or Bear Robotics) referral that converts as a paying vendor customer.
- BSS and DSS can earn $50 each vendor ($100 for POS vendors) referral that converts as a paying vendor customer
Search for the vendor you are looking for on the Vendor Marketplace page on the Back of House website. Once you click “claim offer” or “request info” you will see a prompt that says “click here if you are a GFS employee”. Fill out the form to submit a lead.
Listing a name for each role is required to be able to submit the form. If the role does not exist in market or a particular party had no involvement at all in the customer relationships or issue at hand, you may write “N/A”
Yes! Please still send all relevant customers to our consultants here. The Back of House consultant will meet the customer, assess their needs, and recommend solutions accordingly. They will then submit leads on your behalf and you will still be eligible for a reward if the customer converts.
Note: these referrals will show up on this table at the end of the consultation process when they are submitted to 3rd party vendor.
No, you will only receive the eligible amount for your role.
Example: You are a DSS and submit a direct POS vendor referral. You list the DSR, but there is no applicable BSS for the customer and list “N/A”. If the referral closes, you will get $100 and DSR will get $350.
Payouts are included in your paycheck at the end of the month. Once a referral is approved, the payout will be included in your next end-of-month paycheck.
Note: Referral time to close can often take multiple months.
Use the referral dashboard to track your submission’s progress. Statuses include:
Submitted: Lead submitted, awaiting vendor review.
Accepted: Lead accepted by the vendor. Demo to be scheduled.
Rejected: Lead didn’t qualify and was rejected by the vendor.
Demo Completed: Demo completed. No decision has been made yet.
Closed Lost: Consult completed but did not result in conversion.
Closed Won: Consult completed and customer successfully converted.
Paid out: Payment has been processed.
Ensure leads are qualified by providing accurate and complete information about the customer’s needs.
If a vendor deems the lead unqualified, it will be marked as rejected, and no payout will be issued. The rejection can also depend on the customer’s decision to not move forward.
